I was born January 27th in Fordyce, Arkansas but I have decided in the Kansas City area since I was 5years of age.My baking career has been over 30 years.Chambers Cakes and Cookies is my business that I started in 2005 and in 2006 I was invited to bake in television with Martha Stewart. The Food Network called me in 2009 to appear on the show Road Tasted with the Neelys. On the show I baked my Caramel Pecan Pound Cake. The cake was a hit and to this day is the most requested cake of my customers.This cake was selected for another Food Network show entitled The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Its recipe is in this book which is a collection of 13 of my best cake recipes hence A Bakers Dozen. It is my hope that you will enjoy baking these cakes and filling your palate with good taste!
