Bruce E. Rittmann (Tempe, AZ) is Regents' Professor of Environmental Engineering and Director of the Biodesign Swette Center for Environmental Biotechnology at Arizona State University. Along with Dr. McCarty, he was the winner of the Clarke Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Water Technology.
Perry L. McCarty (Stanford, CA) is the Silas Parmer Professor Emeritus at Stanford University. He is the recipient of the Stockholm Water Prize and the Tyler Environmental Prize.
