Monica Wellington has illustrated more than 40 children's books (and written most of them). Many of her storybooks feature cooking, gardening, and outdoor themes. She teaches a children's book illustration class in the Continuing Education Department at the School of Visual Arts, where she loves working with her students and helping prepare them to break into publishing their art. Monica resides in New York City with her cats, Lola and Zoe.
